QUALITY CONTROL

Once an image has been created, it is important to approach the early stages of post-production from the perspective of creating a master image file.

A master image file is a high bit depth, native resolution, RGB file, that has been edited, spotted, and color corrected in a standardized environment.

By creating a collection of well-defined master images, one can take advantage of powerful, server-based automation regardless of the ultimate end use of the image. CDI has spent years with the country’s top museums refining the development of master file format specifications, using no proprietary technologies in order to protect your workflow investment.

  • Color Management Site Evaluation and File Format Specification: Onsite evaluation to establish a basis for a color management solution. Deliverables include a site report and a detailed implementation proposal outlining recommended file format specifications.
  • Custom Scanner Calibration
  • Custom Printer Calibration
  • System Administrator Color Management Training: Training program aimed towards larger sites that require the capability of performing ongoing color management in house. Program covers camera, monitor, scanner, and output device calibration using GretagMacbeth color management tools and devices.
